Norma A. (nee: Sorensen) Bruno, 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints. She was born in Denmark on November 4, 1925, the daughter of Otto and Agnes (nee: Astrup) Sorensen.
Surviving are her children; Pam (Al) Chaney, Randy (Connie) Bruno, Teresa (Mark) Richter, Patty (Bruce) Gonzalez and Kris (Brian) Bishop; 11 grandchildren, Lonnie, Tina, Mike, Katherine, Jon, Zach, Mario, Michelle, Chad, Melissa and Jacob; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Bergith DeRose and other relatives and friends.
Norma was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Louise; her parents; and a sister, Verda Weber.
Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2008, at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Miesel officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday before services from 2 p.m. until time of service.
