Arthur P.W. Krueger

Arthur P.W. Krueger, age 78, passed away Saturday evening September 6, 2008, at his residence. Arthur was born in Racine, February 13, 1930, son of the late Arthur and Laura (Nee: Christianson) Krueger and was a lifelong resident of Racine.

Arthur worked at the Hansche Farm for many years. He was a faithful member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church for over thirty years and a member of the Cross Bearers Class. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his sister, Phyllis Van Helmond of Denver, CO; nephew, Tony Van Helmond of Denver, CO; cousins, Don (Joyce) Krueger and their children, Kurt (Jackie) Krueger, Lynn Krueger, all of Racine, Kent (Janice) Krueger of Monroe, Carol (Dick) Smollen of Elk River, MN, Stewart (Lucy) McNaughton of Racine, James (Bev) Hay, Harold (Sally) Hay, all of Racine, Alice Cornelius of Cheyenne, WY, Lois (Stan) Craven of Denver, CO, Jeanette Pero of Waukesha,WI, Dorothy Wall of Denver, CO; his roommate Robert Foley; other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, on September 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Flemming officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Lynn Krueger, his guardian Jean Draeger, Stafford Manor especially Sue Lucas and Pat Mandli, and Aseracare Hospice especially Al Poeppel for their loving and compassionate care.
