Eric James Ludwig

Seattle - Eric James Ludwig, 49, passed away suddenly at his residence in Seattle, WA, on Sunday, September 21, 2008. Eric was born in Racine, WI, on October 28, 1958, son of Dr. Richard J. Ludwig and the late Miriam M. (nee: Thomas) Post.

Eric is a graduate of William Horlick High School (1976) and is survived by his former wife, Lynn Ludwig (nee: Schweitzer) of Saukville, WI; sons Kyle and Troy of Racine, WI; and siblings Lyn (Dennis) Johnson of Oostburg, WI, Laura (Thomas) Lyon of Boulder, CO, Raymond (Jacqueline) Ness-Ludwig of Fergus Falls, MN, Richard (Christine) Ahl-Ludwig of Waukesha WI, Karl (Perry) Ludwig of Dallas TX, and Amy (Timothy) Neely of Plano, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other dear relatives and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his brother Thomas.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a memorial service celebrating Eric's life at the Purath-Strand Funeral Home on Monday, September 29. Visitation from 5 p.m.to 7 p.m. with service immediately following. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
