DeLoris L. Richtmyre

DeLoris L. Richtmyre, nee Dombrowski, 80, passed away in Minocqua on Sunday, August 30, 2009.

DeLoris was born in Stevens Point, WI, on July 3, 1929, to Frank and Grace (nee, Studinski) Dombrowski. She has been a resident of Kenosha since 1950, moving to Racine in 2001. DeLoris married Kenneth Richtmyre. They were married for 54 years. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2003.

DeLoris was employed by American Motors and later Chrysler for over 30 years. DeLoris was a member of the Caledonia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved her role as homemaker and caring for her children. DeLoris loved music, traveling to Gatlinburg, TN, and spending time at Lake Tomahawk.

Survivors include her children, Renda (Gary) Danzer, Sally (Robert) Baran, Earl (Kim) Richtmyre, Edward (Kymberlea) Richtmyre, Erven (Terri) Richtmyre, Pamela (Jim) Ewing and Randal (Barbara) Richtmyre; 22 grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Carol) Dombrowski; sister, Diane (Jack) Chezney; and special friend, Ann Fugette. DeLoris is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Stephen Richtmyre; sister, Lorraine Laszewski; and step-granddaughter, Gina Richtmyre.

Memorial services for DeLoris will be held at the Caledonia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6767 Hwy 38, on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 7 p.m. with John Garcia officiating. Private family inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Caledonia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
