Gary P. Brack

With his two loving daughters by his side, Gary P. Brack, 58, went to be with the Lord Friday August 7, 2009, following a long battle with COPD.

Gary was born in Racine August 24, 1950, to Marian (nee: McGregor) and the late Ernest Brack, and was a lifelong resident. Gary attended Park High School and was a member of the Racine Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a painter by profession at JI Case Co. for many years until his retirement February 1, 2008. Gary was an avid golfer, pool player and cribbage player. He will be dearly missed and forever loved by all.

Surviving are his two wonderful daughters, Traci Brack, Jodi (Chris) Rothell; four grandchildren, Laina, Colin, Caleb and Austin; his mother, Marian Brack; brothers, Gregg Brack, David Brack; former wife, Carol Heck; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.

A heartfelt note of thanks to everyone who helped and were there for Gary on the last days of his life. A very special thank you to St. Luke’s Medical Staff in Milwaukee and to Odyssey Health Care.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take… but by the moments that take our breath away.”

We love you, Dad! You will be forever in our heart. Rest in Peace and we will be together one day and reunite in the hand of the Lord. All our Love, Traci and Jodi.
