Mary Margaret (Foote) Moore

Mary Margaret Moore, 69, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Mary was born in Brainerd, MN, on September 6, 1939, daughter of the late Lynol and Eileen (nee: Dowling) Foote. Mary was a realtor for forty years, last working with Remax.

On December 28, 1957, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Mary was united in marriage to William T. Moore who preceded her in death, February 19, 1994. Together, they had thirty-seven beautiful years. She leaves behind the legacy of their love, five children, Mary (Jeff) Thompson of Charlotte, NC, Jenny (Kim) McCluskey , Tim Moore (Marcia), all of Racine, John (Mary) Moore of Mukwonago, Dan (Cheri) Moore of Racine; grandchildren, Scott (Nicole), Jamie (Sarah), Jessica (Tom), Missy (Jason), David, Sam, Sarah, Katie, Emily, Zach and McKenzie; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ruby; also survived by her sisters, Beverly (Ed) Smith, Nancy Julich, Kate Foote; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Jack (Audrey) Moore, Marilyn Moore; Aunt Lois Smith; many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special angel, Rosie Pettis; lifelong friend, Darlene Gryniewicz.

In addition to her husband and soul mate, Bill, and her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Frances Moore, and her brothers-in-law, Bert Julich and George Moore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., on Monday August 17, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ray Elam O.S.A. officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.

The family extends a special thank you to her neighbors who have helped her so much this past year, including, Karen, Jan, Bonnie, Hattie, Marilyn, Jamie and Lynn.
