Born in Chicago IL on March 8, 1908, to the late Max H. and Olive Oppenheimer Oberndorf, she married the late Ben I. Greenebaum, Jr. on Nov. 11, 1931.She was mother of Ben Greenebaum (Nancy Jung Greenebaum) of Racine and the late Susan G. Soule (Stephen Soule). She is also survived by her late brother’s widow, Carolyn (Mrs. John H.) Oberndorf of Northbrook, IL; grandchildren Gregory Soule (Karen Braun) of Calgary, AB, Jacob Soule (Sindi Plaidsen) of Port Townsend, WA, David Greenebaum (Marsha Heard) of Avondale Estates, GA, and Daniel and Edward Greenebaum of Racine, as well as three great-grandchildren, two nieces, and other family members.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family at Ben Greenebaum’s residence, 272 Meriburr Lane, Racine 53402, on Sunday, September 6, 2009, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to a favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.
