Diana was united in marriage to Webster “Webb” LaVette. Along with her husband, she had spent many years in Tucson, enjoying the warm weather and many happy years of golf. Diana enjoyed needlepoint, and vacationing in Hawaii and Florida.
She is survived by one son, Dan Erickson of Somers; step-children, Ellen (Jack) Brower and Jeff (Bunnie) LaVette, both of Manteno, Illinois, Christina (LaMar) Thomas of Naperville, Illinois; grandchildren, Ronald (Niloo) Meline, Dante (Roxanna) Meline, Steve Erickson and Joel Erickson both of Somers. She is further survived by several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother, Dante (Flo) Pieri of Rockford, Illinois, and many dear friends. Diana was preceded in death by her husband, “Webb” on May 7, 2007, one daughter, Sherrie Meline, and one daughter-in-law, Linda Erickson.
There will be a memorial visitation, remembering Diana’s life on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the Sturino Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
The LaVette family would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff at the Becker-Shoop Center for the fine care that Diana has received over the years.
