James Frederick Seibert, age 60, passed away August 8, 2008, at Oakridge Care Center. He was born in Racine September 6, 1947, son of Frederick and Esther (Nee: Otte) Seibert.
On February 13, 1971, at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Linda J. Frederickson. Jim was corporal in the U.S. National Guard in the field artillery. He was employed by Delta Electric. He was a member of St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church. Jim was also a member of Local 420 IBEW and enjoyed golfing, bowling and racing. Above all, it was time spent with his family that he treasured the most. Jim will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his wife, Linda; a son, Brandon (Tina Lucas) Seibert of Racine; a granddaughter, Angelina; and a grandson on the way, James; a sister, Shirley (Gerald) Bartel of Sturtevant; many nieces, nephews, other near relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, 3126 95th St, Sturtevant, Monday August 11, 2008, 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul Raczynski officiating. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Oakridge Care Center and Vitas Hospice for all of their loving and compassionate care.
