CALEDONIA-Frank A. Jensen, 101, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Eldcare Services. Frank was born May 6, 1907 in Aalborg, Denmark.
He was four years old when he came to this country with family, settling in Racine. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II, served 2 years and was discharged and returned home to Racine. On April 9, 1949, Frank was united marriage to Joyce Miles. Frank and Joyce were members of Calvary Memorial Church for many years.
He retired from the J.I.Case Company with over 20 years of service. Earlier in his life he worked as a finishing carpenter. After retirement he was employed at Iroquis Foundry for several years.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife Joyce on November 11, 1999.
Special thanks for the loving care and attention given to Frank by Pastor Nathan James and Susan James. A sincere thank you from the family to Peppa Veltchev and staff.
Private burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial services will be held in October and will be announced at a later date.
