Nadia Sue Londré, 28, shortly after receiving communion, peacefully passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
Nadia was born in Racine on September 18, 1979, to Ronald J. and Sue K. (nee, Jensen) Londré. She graduated from UW-Parkside. Nadia was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. She was very strong spiritually and was active within her family. Nadia had a childlike passion for life. She had an open heart and was a giving and trusting person. She was happiest when she could make others smile. Nadia enjoyed quilting and pottery and her passion was to help disabled children express themselves through art.
Nadia is survived by her parents; Ronald J. and Sue K. Londré; brother, Ronald A. (Jennifer) Londré; and her niece and Goddaughter, Ella Londré. Nadia is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services for Nadia will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 15, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the time of services.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nadia’s church family and to Dr. Michael Mullane and the staff of Hospice Alliance for all of their care and compassion shown to Nadia.
