Shellie was born in Racine on March 20, 1973, to James and Kathleen (nee: Regal) Dieck. She married Kevin Lovdahl at Oak Creek Assembly of God on September 12, 1992. Shellie was an excellent homemaker and was also employed at Ruud Lighting as an assembler. She enjoyed working out and running in marathons, bowling and camping.Shellie is survived by her husband Kevin Lovdahl; children, Benjamin, Sarah and Abbigail Lovdahl; mother Kathleen Dieck; brothers James (Shawna Peters) Dieck, Jr. and Ronald (Joanne) Dieck; grandfather, Lloyd Dieck, Sr.; mother-in-law, Caroline Lovdahl; brothers-in-law, Jon (Donna) Lovdahl, William (Terri) Lovdahl, Ron (Charlotte) Lovdahl and Marc (Karen Peterson) Lovdahl; sister-in-law, Marchele (Dennis) Horton; nieces and nephews, Donald, Alyssa, Ronald, Jr., Jacob, Christopher, Samuel, Zachary, Tara, Seth and Emily. Shellie is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Dieck, Sr.; maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother; and father-in-law, Marcus Lovdahl.
Funeral services for Shellie will be held at Racine Bible Church, 12505 Spring St., on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to the family or Racine Bible Church have been suggested.
