Ronald G. Frahmann, 70 passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
Ron was born in Holway, WI, on November 13, 1938, to Albert and Eleanor (nee, Nelson) Frahmann. He married the former Kathleen Wudi at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cudahy on May 21, 1966. Ron served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. Ron retired from Appleton Electric in South Milwaukee after more than thirty-seven years. Ron loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and cutting wood. He was a proud member of Salmon Unlimited. He also enjoyed football, especially the Packers, and loved to fix stuff in the garage, including painting and auto body repair.
Ron is survived by his wife, Kathleen Frahmann; daughters, Diane (Jeff) Peterson, Doreen (Mike) Lueck and Debra (Leif) Lovdahl; grandchildren, Samantha, Madilynn, Savannah and Jonathan; sisters, Shirley (Henry) Anderson and Sharon (Mike) Doyle; and will be sadly missed by Muffin. Ron is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many fishing and hunting buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Omer Weiland; and granddaughter, Katelynn.
Funeral services for Ron will be held at St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic church on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Eddie Co, Ron’s Cardiologist, for all of his compassionate care.
