Sharon Marie Reeser

Mrs. Sharon M. Reeser, 68, was born to eternal life at her home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009.

Sharon was born in Merrill, Wisconsin, to the late Kenneth and Gladys (nee: Brighum) Thomack on September 27, 1941. She lived in Wausau for 14 years until moving to Racine in 1956. She was united in marriage to Charles A. Reeser in Racine on June 6, 1959. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 6 of this year.

Mrs. Reeser was a member of the St. Nicholas Episcopal Church. She was a Certified Child Care Provider for many years. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose – Moose Lodge Chapter 631. She enjoyed baking and crochet. Most of all she loved taking care of children and her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband Charles; four children, Doreen (Tim) Uick, Dave (Alane) Reeser, William (Melissa) Reeser, and Larry Reeser, all of Racine; seven grandchildren, Jeff and Steve Uick, and Travis, Ryan, Chelsea, Katie, and Lea Reeser; eight great-grandchildren, Savanah, Brianna, Sophia, Bailey, William, Donnie, Harmony and Kenny; three brothers, Larry (Bev) Thomack, Duane (Donna) Thomack, and Scott (Sherie) Thomack all of Racine; one sister, Donna (Darvin) Fink of Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
