Robert J. Foley

Robert J. Foley, age 83, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009, at Stafford Manor. Robert was born in Kansasville, WI, on July 7, 1926, son of the late Michael J. and Irene (Nee: Hankinson) Foley and was a resident of Racine since 1960. Robert served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his sisters, Sister Mary Briant (Margaret) Foley, SSND, of Elm Grove, WI, Mary Lenore “Nora” (Kenneth) Grow of Madison, WI; sisters-in-law, Mary E. Foley of Burlington, WI, and Mary Foley of Chicago, IL; numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Michael and Charles Foley; sister, Jean Husen Wooderick; and dear friend, Arthur Krueger, whom Robert thought of as a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 11 a.m.at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 23211 Church Rd, Kansasville, with Rev. Howard Haase officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.
