Margarete was born in Germany on February 28, 1928, to Albert and Elizabeth (nee, Wagner) Scheuble. She married Rolf Plachter in Germany in 1950. Margaret was a seamstress by trade, moving the United States with Rolf in September 1953. Margarete’s passion in life was her family, especially her children.Survivors include her husband, Rolf Plachter; children, Fred Plachter, Cindy Petz and Richard Plachter; grandchildren, Brad Plachter, Matt Plachter and Jarod Petz; and four great-grandchildren. Margarete is also survived by a brother and three sisters in Germany.
Private family services will be held.
