Huston Mosley, 65, passed away in Kenosha at United Health Systems - Kenosha Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 13, 2008.
He was born in Crawford, Mississippi, on April 16, 1943, to Johnnie B. (nee: Mosley) Degraffenreid. A baptized Christian, Huston has lived in Racine since 1965. He was employed by Racine Steel Castings for many years.
Huston enjoyed shooting pool, listening to music, and treasured the moments of being in the surroundings of family and friends.
Surviving are his daughter, Tammie Cook; son, Huston Oliver; mother and step-father, Johnnie B. and Thomas Degraffenreid; special auntie and uncle, Maggie B. and James Judon; devoted cousins, James and Lela Moore; and grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. Huston was preceded in death by his brothers, J.G. and J.B. Mosley.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008, in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Minister James Oates officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 a.m.
