She was born in Racine on May 16, 1931, the daughter of the late William and Kristense (nee: Christensen) Christensen. Mrs. Pfost was a member of Bethania Luther Church.Surviving are her sons, Scott (Judy) Pfost and Barry (Barbara) Pfost; grandchildren, Ashley Pfost, Lindsay Pfost, Brad (Dani) Weber, Stephanie (Tony) Chirigotis; great-grandchildren, Jenna Pfost, Dylan Chirigotis, Isabelle Chirigotis and Emma Weber; godson, Dean Gotch; and cousins Karen Flatley and Louise Flatley.
Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 23, at 6 p.m., with Rev. Steve Woklfeil. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Private internment will be held in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family has suggested memorials to Bethania Lutheran Church or the National Liver Foundation.
