Mount Pleasant -- Anthony L. Ackley, 63, passed away at his residence on Monday July 6, 2009.
Mr. Ackley was born on July 28, 1945, to Charles and Eunice (nee: Gordon) Ackley in Ashland and lived most of his life in Racine. On June 18, 1979, he was united in marriage to Christine Betty Ackley in Las Vegas, NV. She preceded him in death on October 12, 1998.
Anthony was employed at Twin Disc for over 37 years until his retirement in April 2009. He was also a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Mole Lake-Chippewa Band.
Tony is survived by his three daughters and one son-in-law, Tamela, Tracie (Tom), and Tara; two grandsons, Shane and Seth; three special nephews, Joseph, Tyler, and Jerrick; one niece, Autumn; mother-in-law Betty Shierk; and sister-in-law Holly (Brett) Larson. His is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday July 10, 2009, at 7 p.m. Interment will be held on Saturday at Strong Prairies Cemetery in Necedah at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends can meet with the family from 5 p.m. on Friday until the time of service
