Mt. Pleasant- Mrs. Marjorie McClellan (nee:Jens) , 88, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
Marjorie was born in Racine on June 20, 1921, to the late John and Anna (nee: Schatz) Jens. On August 15, 1947, she was united in marriage to Lewis McClellan.
Mrs. McClellan was a 1942 graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing and served in the Army Nurse Corps during WWII in the European Theater. She was also a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Lewis; son, Mark (Lisa) McClellan of Antioch, IL; daughter Lynn McClellan of Racine; one granddaughter, Jennifer; nieces, nephews, and her very good friends from the 1942 B Nursing Class.
Funeral services for Mrs. McClellan will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kara Baylor officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lincoln Lutheran Home
