Rose Mary (nee: Giacinti) Zwaga, 95, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Willow Crest Care Center in South Milwaukee.
Rose was born in Racine on June 19, 1914, the daughter of the late Pericle and Concetta (nee: Crocioni) Giacinti. She was a 1932 graduate of William Horlick High School. Rose was united in marriage to Clarence Zwaga on April 29, 1939. Rose was employed at Massey Ferguson for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Gethsemane Senior Group and Roma Lodge Vittoria Colona. For many years she enjoyed square dancing with her husband. Rose also loved cooking and playing bocce ball. Most of all she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Dennis (Cheryl) Zwaga of Franksville; daughter, Marie (William) Naretta of Rockford, IL; grandsons, Paul Naretta and Doug Zwaga; granddaughters, Nancy Pejsa, Lisa Zwaga and Anita Zwaga; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Katie Delany, Nick Naretta and Danny Pejsa; special nieces, Adeline Wensel, Anita Bononno; nephew, Frederick Yocco; cousin, Eva Smercheck. Rose is further survived by cousins in Italy, other relatives and dear friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, on January 23, 1992; sister, Jennie Yocco; and brother, Remo Giacinti.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Parish on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Bill Dietzler officiating. Private burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass.

Just heard of the passing of Rose - our sympathy and condolences to you Marie, Bill, and your family. We remember her as a lady that was very kind and caring. I am sure she will be missed. May she rest in peace always.
