Ruth Green, 91, of Racine, WI, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2009.
Born, October 27, 1917, in Racine to Karl Karlson and Florence Pederson, Ruth was one of five siblings. Ruth dedicated her career to education. She was an admired teacher at Bay View High School in Milwaukee for over 30 years. She was also a lifetime member of Christ Church – United Methodist where she found strength and fellowship.
Ruth is survived by her brother Karl Karlson Jr. and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving son John; her brothers, Bob and Ralph; and her sister, Dorothy.
Services will take place at Christ Church – United Methodist on Thursday, August 13, to be followed by food and fellowship. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. to be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at Christ Church – United Methodist, 5109 Washington Ave. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Christ Church – United Methodist Women’s Group, 5109 Washington Ave., Racine,
