Robert attended Wm Horlick High School, Class of 1982. In 1985 he was joined in marriage to Lisa Clark; they had three children together before their divorce in 1991. On May 22, 1993, he was united in marriage to Kim Erickson, who passed away this past May 21. Robert was employed at Harley Davidson in Milwaukee for over 10 years. Rob was an avid reader and had a particular interest in history. He enjoyed playing games on the computer and spending time with his wife, Kim.Surviving are his children, US Marine Corporal Robert M. DuMont, Jr., and Sarah Nichole DuMont; stepchildren, Samantha Gonzales, and Maria Flores; grandson, Ty Robert Jensen; brothers, Jeffrey (Janna) DuMont and Danny (Geri) DuMont; his sister, Renee DuMont; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rodney and Mitzi Erickson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph, in 2007; and a brother, Michael.
Funeral services will be held at St John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green St., on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Memorials to family have been suggested.
