Lois L. Cetrano, age 94, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Mt. Carmel Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Caldwell, KS, November 22, 1914, daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Nee: Ingle) Coryell.
Lois was employed at the Sausage Kitchen and Lee’s Deli for many years. She loved to watch any sports on TV and loved to crochet. She was a lifetime member of the Vittoria Colonna. Above all she was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law: Frank (Kathy) Cetrano Jr. of Racine and their sons, Frank Cetrano III serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Underwood in FL and Anthony Cetrano of Racine; her daughter and son-in-law, Marti (Bob) Kelly and their daughters, Suzanne Montgomery, Erin Kelly (fiancé Greg Poplawski Jr), and Dana Kelly; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Makenna Montgomery , Vincent Poplawski; grandson, Michael Povkovich; granddaughter, Leslie Mudge; nieces, nephews, other relatives, special friends, Lois Shaw, Lotte Wrenger, Mary Ayala, and Anna May Pearson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jack; granddaughter, Kasey; and sisters, Ruth and Ruby.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at 11 a.m., with Reverend Stephen Stradinger officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Mt. Carmel Activities Dept have been suggested.
The family wishes to give Mt. Carmel Unit “3” nurses a very heartfelt thank you for all the good care and acts of kindness you gave our mom. You all are “very special.” Thanks also to the staff at Community Care for all your good care you have given throughout the years.
