Dorothy G. Muller, age 86, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. Dorothy was born in Racine, April 1, 1923, daughter of the late Nicholas and Martha (Nee: Bruce) Muller.
She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and was Vice President of Trinity Ladies Aid for twenty years. She graduated from William Horlick High School “Class of 1941.” She worked for Western Advertising Agency/Bozell and Jacobs Inc. for forty-two years, retiring in 1983. Dorothy was a wonderful gourmet cook. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her three sisters, Leone Muller, Marie Peil, and Alice J. Hudec; dear friends, cousins and special cousins from the Freylange, Belgium, area and other relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Jean Matthew Muller; and brothers-in-law, Glen Peil, and Paul Hudec.
Rev. Stephen E. Jennings officiated at private funeral services, followed by interment at Mound Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Ladies Aid or Trinity Lutheran School Tuition Support Program.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gerald Wisniewski and nurse, Peggy for their kindness over the many years, and also to Dr. Park and Dr. Choi.
