Edna Y. Cheever

Edna Yvonne (nee: Knudtson) Cheever, 71, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa. She was born in Eau Claire on November 5, 1937, the daughter of Selmer and Bernice (nee: Nelson) Knudtson. On December 11, 1959, Edna was united in marriage to Alvin E. Cheever in Eau Claire. Edna enjoyed all types of puzzles and also enjoyed traveling.

Surviving is her husband, Alvin; sons, Dale Cheever, Daniel (Tammy) Cheever, DuWayne Cheever, Jeffery (Gina) Cheever; daughters, Dawn (Howard) Jorgensen, Pamela (Jim) Jandron, Joan (Jac) Cole; sisters, Beatrice (William) Tumm, Phyllis Radle, Ione (Charles) Anderson, , Lois Knudtson; brothers, Arthur (Florence) Knudtson and Edward (Darlene) Knudtson, brother in law, Pete Tumm and 13 grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Edna was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Tumm; and a brother in law, Herman Radle.

Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2009, at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
