Rosella was born in Modena, WI, on January 9, 1918, to Charles and Emma (nee: Sande) Yarrington. She was employed at St. Mary’s Medical Center as a CNA until her retirement. Rosella was a funny lady and was a great person to be around. She loved to make sure that everyone was fed.Rosella is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allen (Joan) Jensen; daughters and sons-in-law, Mavis (Robert) Clausen-LaFond, Karen (Tom) Garbo, and Sharon Pitchford; grandchildren, Carrie Jensen, Daniel and Michael Clausen, Jennifer Shawhan, Steven Garbo, Pam Adams, Billy and Paula Pitchford; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Doris) Yarrington; and sister, Helen Kruger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosella was preceded in death by her grandson, David Clausen; two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services for Rosella will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 7, 2008, at 7 p.m. with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Private family interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of services.
Rosella’s children would like to thank their sister, Sharon, and niece, Paula, for the loving and dedicated care they gave to their mother. They would also like to thank the 3rd floor nursing staff at Wheaton Franciscan for the care and compassion given to the family.
