Leo J. Pucely, 95, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Leo was born in Racine on December 17, 1913, to John and Jennie (Yarina) Pucely.
Leo loved the farm where he lived his entire life. He spent most of his life farming and working at various manufacturing companies. He loved to spend time walking on his farm enjoying nature. Leo was a simple man enjoying the simple things in life. Family was the most important thing in life to Leo. He loved spending time with his many nieces, nephews, their children and took good care of his parents.
Leo is survived by his brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Scott; and sister-in-law, Lucy Pucely. Leo is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister-in-law, Edward Pucely, Carl Pucely, Emil and Rose Pucely; sisters and brother-in-law, Elsie Scott, Victoria and Jack Hanson; and niece, Marya Pucely.
Visitation for Leo will be held at the funeral home on this Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2009, from 2 until 3:30 p.m. A time of Sharing will be held at 3:30 p.m. Private entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorial may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Leo’s caregiver, Ann , for her companionship and loving care and compassion.
