Audrey was born in Racine to the late Alfred and Grace (nee: Schmoll) Anderson on March 14, 1935, and lived her entire life in Racine. She was a devoted mother of 11 children, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She also loved crafts and baking, but the most important part of her life was spending time with her family.She is survived by her children, Dale (Linda) LaFever Jr., Debbie (Jamie) Darracott, Carol (Roland) Morales, Margaret (Lewis) Marquez, Charles LaFever, Lori (Jens) Martinsen, Joan Evans, David (Jennifer) LaFever, James LaFever, and Kevin (Laurie) LaFever; daughter-in-law Susan LaFever; 60 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Jerry (Carolyn) Anderson; sister, Lory (Marv) McCray; and her loyal dog, Bear. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joel LaFever; and grandsons Keller McQuay and Brian LaFever.
Funeral services for Audrey will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
