William J. Cook, 63, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born at Ft. Bragg, NC, on November 11, 1946, the son of Wesley and Opal (nee: Gregerson) Cook.
William was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He was a graduate of William Horlick High School and MATC in Culinary Arts. Most recently he was employed at Spee-Dee Machinery in Sturtevant. William was united in marriage to Cynthia Jepsen on October 18, 1969, at Emmaus Lutheran Church, where they have been members for many years. He enjoyed fishing with his sons, watching Badger and Packers football with his wife and visiting their property up north.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Cynthia; sons, Aaron (Rachel) Cook and Jonathan (Katie Schultz) Cook: sisters, Carol (Gary) Swiden and Sharon (Patrick) Devine; sister-in-law, Sharon Crandall. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Cook.
Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mary Janz officiating. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday before services from 10 a.m. until service time.
