Joyce is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Hank) Nelson of Cottage Grove, MN, and Celeste McKloskey of Racine; grandchildren, Keith (Leslie) VanHolbeck, Cherie (Shon) Cobbs, Jamie (Nick) Valentia and Billy McKloskey, and nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends in Escanaba, Milwaukee and Racine and her church family at St. Mary’s.Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, William, on May 23, 1999; son-in-law, John McKloskey; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane (John) Reiffers; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Philip and Kathleen Labre.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Dr., on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen J. Stradinger, Deacon Robert Starr and Deacon James Devona officiating. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until mass time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry or Hospice Alliance have been suggested.
