Robert “Bob” Lee Corrigan, 80, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care-All Saints on Wednesday January 13, 2010.
Bob was born in Racine on May 13, 1929, the son of Clyde E. and Catherine M. (nee: Duffy) Corrigan. He attended St. Catherine’s High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. Bob was a member of the Racine Moose Lodge, Dania Hall, Danish Brotherhood, German Club and the VFW.
Bob was the proud owner of his own business, Corrigan and Sons. He found great enjoyment in gourmet cooking, crossword puzzles and SCUBA diving in his earlier years with his brother, Eugene.
Bob is survived by his loving daughter, Lori (Don) Schroeder of Racine; three grandchildren, Jodi (Andy) Bellovary of Madison, Dora Hagen and William Hagen, both of Racine. He is also survived by one sister, Kathleen (Ray) Creager of California; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 1996; one brother, Eugene; and one sister, Mary.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, private services have been held with burial at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Elizabeth Residence, 5737 Erie St., Racine, WI 53403, have been suggested by his family.
Bob’s family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Elizabeth Residence, Caledonia, and W.F.H. All Saints for the fine care given to Bob.
