On August 30, 1974, she was united in marriage to Imre Rokay who preceded her in death, February 22, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur H. Jonsson. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Ora loved tending to her garden all summer long. She was an avid Packer fan. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nanny.” She will be dearly missed.Survivors include her children, Linda (Todd) Norman of Racine, Debra Jonsson of Iola, Jon Jonsson of Sturtevant, Emeric (Liz Waterfall) Rokay of Wauwatosa, Erwin (Bonnie Ellenberger) Rokay of Racine; her grandchildren, Karin (Mike) Kirchmeier of Racine, Sara Norman of Oak Creek, Danielle (Adam) Lopez, Michael (Katie) Jonsson, all of Racine; her great-grandchildren, Paige LaMacchia, Nicolas Lopez, Josephine Jonsson, Mia Lopez, Jillian Kirchmeier and Michael Jonsson Jr; sisters, June Remec and Verda Wille ; sisters-in-law, Viola Wille and Joan Wille; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Irma Winslow, Wilbur Wille, Kenneth Wille, Lois Kerr and Don Wille.
Private funeral services will be held with interment to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church have been suggested.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff on 2C and ICU at Wheaton –Franciscan All Saints Medical Center for their loving and compassionate support.
