On May 24, 1946, he was united in marriage to Margaret A. Wohlust who preceded him in death, July 31, 1992. He was employed by Belle City Malleable for thirty-five years, retiring from Racine Steel Castings in 1981. Jesus was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed wrestling and had a love for animals. Above all he treasured time with his family and will be deeply missed.Survivors include his seven children, Jesse (Chris) Zuñiga of Dallas, TX, Diana Zuñiga of Racine, Darlene Lucas of Racine, Greg (Kellie) Zuñiga of Reno, NV, Deborah Zuñiga, David Zuñiga, and Doreen Zuñiga, all of Racine; grandchildren, Dennis, Dion, Adam, Jessica, Junior, Kayla, Dennis, Joshua, Lisa, Cody, Johannah, Lee, Crystal, Devin, and Justin; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Dennis M.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Jerry Hessel officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m.until time of service.
