Jim graduated from Washington Park High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He had worked at Acme Die Castings for 20 years and was currently working at Great Lakes Naval Base. Jim enjoyed bowling, fishing, the Packers, and was Ken’s lucky charm at the casino.Surviving are cousins, Edna (Lester) Lowe of Union Grove, WI, Tom (Mary) Christensen of Oak Creek, WI, George (Renee) Christensen of Peachtree City, GA, Mark Christensen of Houston, TX, Ellen (Jim) Hogan of Portland, OR; numerous third cousins; special friends, Ken and Sandy Wilkinson and family, West Allis, WI; other relatives in California, many dear friends, and co-workers.
A Memorial service with interment will be held Friday, January 22, 2010, at 2 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 9000 Washington Ave. Relatives and friends may meet Friday at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel at 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Memorials to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or to Goodwill Southeastern Wisconsin have been suggested.
