She was born in Kenosha, on April 5, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Lillian (nee: Doherty) Willmore and had been a resident of Racine since November 1969. Lynn was united in marriage on Jan. 13, 1968, in Kenosha to Charles A. Runnels. They later divorced. On May 1, 1993, Lynn was united in marriage to James T. Meyers in Racine.Lynn worked for the Social Security Administration in Racine and Boston, MA, Young Radiator Co and Thermal Transfer Products.
She is survived by her husband, James; her children, Carl (Sandy) Runnels of Maine, daughter, Laurie (Dale) Christman of Racine; grandsons, Jacob and Jonah Christman; granddaughter, Elizabeth Krezinski; special friend and soulmate, Carol Litrenta; stepsons, James S. and Chadwick Meyers; nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy (Warren) Hawthorne of Lebanon, KY.
She loved her many cats and enjoyed traveling, with the highlight of her life, being the country of Ireland. Lynn's hobbies were gardening, flowers and photography.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at 7 p.m. Interment will be held at St. James Cemetery in Kenosha. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
