Susan Rose Juliette Blask , age seven months, who was loved by all, passed away on December 26, 2008, at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Susan was born in Racine on May 6, 2008, the daughter of Kevin and Sarah (Nee: Vytlacil) Blask. She suffered from Biliary Atresia and fought valiantly to survive through two liver transplants. More than anything, her family treasured time spent with Susan who could light up a room with her beautiful eyes, sparkling smile and contagious giggle.
Susie is survived by her loving parents, Sarah and Kevin Blask; brother and sister, Jonathan Mitchell Blask and Samantha Marie Jade Blask; grandparents, Juliet Edmands and Ron Primuth, of Mount Pleasant, Jerry and Sue Vytlacil of Racine, John and Michele Blask of Stanwood Michigan; great-grandparents, Donna and Jack Vytlacil of Cudahy, Shirley and Dale Betts of Cape Coral, Florida; as well as aunts and uncles, Kelly and Patty Blask of Mason, Michigan; Dan and Wendy (nee: Blask) Kaisler, Dylan and Kattie Vytlacil both of Racine; and numerous cousins, and family friends. Susie Q was preceded in death by her aunts, Melody and Harmony Vytlacil, and cousin, Samantha Christine Blask of Michigan.
Funeral services honoring and remembering Susie’s precious life will be held at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 322 Ohio St., on Monday, December 29, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. James Barsch officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy. A time of fellowship and remembrances with a light lunch will be held at the church following graveside services. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
