Robert Tenuta, age 78, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at the Village at Manor Park, West Allis, WI. He was born in Racine on October 5, 1930, son of the late Saverio and Mary G. (Nee: Serpe) Tenuta Sr. Robert served in the Korean War and was employed for many years at Massey Ferguson.
Surviving are his sister, Rachel Tenuta; brother, Anthony (Dorothea) Tenuta; nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Annunziato “Nunzie,” and Saverio “Sam” Tenuta.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of service. Memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church or to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
