On July 27, 1963, at St. Patrick Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Gloria M. Vela. He was employed for many years by Cast Tools Inc. Miguel enjoyed bowling and watching softball. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed.Survivors include his wife, Gloria; his three children, Miguel Aguilar Jr., Patra (Ernie) Rivera and Elena Aguilar, all of Racine; his five grandchildren, Moriah Aguilar, Angelina and Novella Velasquez, Sofia Rivera and Alfredo Bernal III; his great-grandson, Andres Miguel Rodriguez; two sisters, Ysidora Cordova of Racine and Ramona Villareal of Pearsall, TX; one brother, Mauricio (Ruby) Aguilar of Pearsall, TX; mother-in-law, Hermangilda “Mary” Vela of Racine; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Raul Vela.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ray Christensen officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorials to the family have been suggested.

he is my grandpa and we will never forget him. We had a lot of fun . but now my grandma is sad and really can't efford to pay the bills but we'll make it through.
