Mary Bergquist

Mary Catherine (nee: Fite) Bergquist, 83, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Ridgewood Care Center. She was born in Gillespie, IL, on August 4, 1925, the daughter of Guy and Nelly (nee: Long) Fite.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy (Kathy) Bergquist and Mitchell (Kerry Sherman) Bergquist all of Racine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy (Peter Seybold) Bergquist of Bloomington, IN, and Cheryl (Donald) Peterson of Arlington Heights, IL; four grandchildren, Caitlen (Carsten Schweigert) Daniels, Cari Sanders, Morgan Bergquist and Garrett Peterson; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Bailey and Aubrey; sister, Darlene Petrolli and a sister-in-law, Helen Bergquist. She is further survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; brothers, Lionel and Fireball; sisters, Snooks and Pookie.

Memorial Services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 3 p.m. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, before services from 2:30 until time of service.
